7 New Investment Projects Worth US$110 Million Approved by CDC

PHNOM PENH, June 24, 2026 – The Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) has approved seven new investment projects worth a combined US$110 million, expected to generate approximately 4,500 jobs across the Kingdom.
The projects were reviewed during the 6th "One Window" meeting of the Cambodian Investment Committee on June 24, chaired by H.E. Chea Vuthy, Secretary General of the Committee.

Representatives from relevant ministries, institutions, and provincial administrations attended the session.
Of the seven projects, six are in the industrial sector. These include a gold mining and processing facility; a plastic products factory producing bags, containers, water tanks, toys, and accessories; a motorcycle and tricycle assembly plant; a plaster powder and plasterboard factory; a board and furniture manufacturing plant; and a pharmaceutical factory.
The remaining project is in the agriculture and agro-industry sector: a fish and snail farming operation with a pearl and fish processing facility.
The projects are located across seven provinces: Kampong Thom, Kratie, Kandal, Kampong Speu, Kampot, Svay Rieng, and Kampong Chhnang.
