Cambodia Chamber of Commerce to Establish Paris Office
PHNOM PENH — Sept. 25, 2026: The Royal Government of Cambodia has approved the creation of a Cambodia Chamber of Commerce representative office in Paris, France, with jurisdiction covering the city of Paris.
According to the decision signed on Sept. 16, 2026, the office will be known as the Representative Office of the Cambodia Chamber of Commerce in Paris, France. It will comprise 15 elected members and will operate without using the national budget.
Any provisions contradicting the decision are annulled. The Minister in charge of the Council of Ministers, the Minister of Economy and Finance, the Minister of Commerce, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and all relevant ministers and heads of institutions are responsible for implementing the decision according to their duties, effective from the date of signature.
The move is expected to support Cambodian businesses seeking access to European markets and to deepen commercial ties with France.
It comes as Cambodia prepares to host the 20th Francophonie Summit in Phnom Penh and to welcome French President Emmanuel Macron on a state visit, both scheduled for November 2026.
