Cambodia Launches Digital Platform for Vehicle Services, Invoicing, and Road Permits

PHNOM PENH, September 3, 2026 – The Ministry of Public Works and Transport (MPWT) has officially rolled out three digital services aimed at streamlining administrative processes and enhancing public service delivery.
Minister Peng Ponea presided over the launch ceremony on September 3, joined by ministry officials, banking partners, and other stakeholders.
The new services include online vehicle inspection renewals through partner banks, a digital invoicing system, and an electronic road license application process. The move is designed to reduce wait times, improve accessibility, and allow citizens to complete transactions securely and transparently.
The initiative is part of the ministry's broader push to modernise public services and align with the Royal Government's digital policy, placing citizens at the centre of service delivery.
