PHNOM PENH, August 14, 2026 – Cambodia is taking decisive steps to strengthen its anti-doping framework, with senior government officials and sports leaders convening to review progress and ensure full readiness for the upcoming World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) 2027 Code.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education, Youth and Sport Dr. Hang Chuon Naron, who also serves as President of the Cambodia Anti-Doping Agency (CADA) Council, chaired the high-level meeting at the Ministry on Thursday. The gathering brought together key stakeholders to assess the nation's anti-doping infrastructure and reinforce its commitment to clean competition.
During the meeting, Dr. Hang Chuon Naron emphasized that Cambodia remains steadfast in its dedication to upholding the WADA Code and promoting a culture of integrity in sports.
