Cambodia, Thailand Conclude UNCLOS Conciliation Talks in Singapore

PHNOM PENH, September 14, 2026 – A closed-door session of the Conciliation Commission established under the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS) between Cambodia and Thailand wrapped up on Monday afternoon in Singapore.
The proceedings were presided over by Ms. Katrina Cooper, Chair of the Conciliation Commission.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Prak Sokhonn headed the Cambodian delegation as the Kingdom's Agent, joined by Cambodia's legal team. The Thai side was represented by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sihasak Phuangketkeow, serving as Thailand's Agent.
