Cambodian Defence Minister Holds Productive Talks with Australian Counterpart in Canberra

PHNOM PENH, September 9, 2026 – Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defence General Tea Seiha has met with Australian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Defence Richard Marles in Canberra for high-level discussions aimed at deepening bilateral defence cooperation.

General Tea Seiha expressed his appreciation for the warm reception and highlighted the value of the productive talks. Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening defence ties between Cambodia and Australia, with a shared focus on contributing to regional security, peace, and prosperity.
