Cambodian Youth Join 10,000 Peers at International Youth Festival in Russia

PHNOM PENH, Sept. 18, 2026: A Cambodian youth delegation took part in the International Youth Festival held in Yekaterinburg, Russia, from Sept. 11 to 17, 2026, joining some 10,000 young people from 191 countries, according to the Russian Center of Science and Culture in Phnom Penh.

The Cambodian delegation included Norng Rithy, Sreu Rithiya, Ly Sovandarong, Sothea Sovannet and other young participants.

Under the theme "Follow Your Dream," the Cambodian youth took part in artistic performances, exhibitions, sports competitions and training sessions. They also used the opportunity to promote Cambodian culture, exchange experiences, build networks with international peers and capture memorable moments from the event.
