Cambodia's Brightest Young Minds Head to Russia for Global Youth Festival
PHNOM PENH, September 8, 2026 – A delegation of Cambodia's most promising young leaders has been officially welcomed by the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Phnom Penh ahead of their departure for the 2026 International Youth Festival in Russia.
The festival, themed "Follow Your Dream. Together with Russia," will unite more than 10,000 young leaders from 191 countries, offering a platform for cultural exchange, networking, and global dialogue.
Cambodia's delegation includes students, entrepreneurs, journalists, architects, and researchers—all active public figures shaping the nation's future. They represent a cross-section of Cambodia's emerging leadership, from student federations abroad to urban development and scientific research.
The delegation also paid a courtesy visit to the Russian Embassy, where Ambassador Anatoly Borovik offered words of encouragement and wished them a transformative and unforgettable experience.
