Deputy PM, Culture Minister Inspect Rehearsals for International Anti-Scam Conference

PHNOM PENH, September 11, 2026 – His Excellency Vongsey Vissoth, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister and Minister in Charge of the Office of the Council of Ministers, accompanied by Dr. Phoeung Sakona, Minister of Culture and Fine Arts, visited the Royal University of Fine Arts on September 10 to inspect and encourage artists rehearsing for a cultural performance to welcome the upcoming International Conference on Combating Technology-based Fraud.

The conference is scheduled to take place on September 23, 2026, with Cambodia serving as host.

During the visit, the Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister of Culture and Fine Arts met with the artists and performers preparing for the event, offering words of encouragement and reviewing their preparations ahead of the international gathering.
