Francophonie Village: 11 Days to Go Before Phnom Penh Opening

Phnom Penh, November 2, 2026: Only 11 days remain before the Francophonie Village opens at the garden in front of Botum Vatey pagoda in Phnom Penh, with organisers promising a lively celebration of cultural exchange and innovation.

The side event of the 20th Francophonie Summit will welcome visitors free of charge, offering a rich programme of pavilions, performances, exhibitions and food.

Organisers encouraged the public to attend and experience the vibrant spirit of the Francophonie community, under the slogan "Khmer smiles, Francophonie smiles."


The Francophonie Village will run from Nov. 13 to 17, 2026, ahead of the summit itself on Nov. 14-16.
