Japan Delegation Praises Cambodia-Japan Green Tech Business Forum

PHNOM PENH — Oct. 16, 2026: Japanese institutions have thanked Environment Minister H.E. Dr. Eang Sophalleth for hosting the Cambodia-Japan Economic Co-Creation Networking Symposium and Business Matching, held on Sept. 29, 2026.

The delegation included JETRO, JAXA and the Japan Space Forum, among other organisations.

Delegates described the event as opening a new chapter in cooperation on green business and environmental space technology between the two countries.

More than 200 leaders, investors and businesspeople from both countries attended, and the co-creation approach produced 20 cooperation projects.

The Japanese delegation praised the Ministry of Environment's vision and its work to connect Japan's advanced technology with business and sustainable development in Cambodia.
