JUST IN | Missing Singaporean Woman Found Safe in Cambodia

PHNOM PENH, July 31 (KDN News) – A 20-year-old Singaporean woman who was reported missing after travelling to Cambodia has been found safe, Cambodian authorities confirmed.

Ministry of Interior spokesperson Touch Sokhak said Siti Aishah Siregar Sahat Siregar was located on July 31. According to the spokesperson, she travelled to Cambodia due to emotional distress and had intentionally stopped communicating with her family.

The Singapore Police Force confirmed her safe recovery and thanked the Cambodian National Police for their swift cooperation. Singapore's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and its Embassy in Phnom Penh are providing consular assistance to her family.

Aishah had travelled from Singapore to Cambodia on July 28 before her family reported her missing.
